“This experience was much better than I expected. Given that it was carnival weekend and Valentine’s Day, I thought the experience might be rushed and touristy. The experience started with checking in at the tourist office, which the company had given us excellent directions to. We were given a numbered sticker for our gondola and then taking into a room for a VR experience of Venice in the 1700s which was excellent. Then then had a short 10 minute walk to the gondola during which our guide gave us lots of information about Venice. The 30 minute gondola ride was excellent.
