“The city pass proved very useful for the ACTV taxi service as we were based on Guidecca and the Hilton Stucky shuttle was less frequent and sometimes full. It gave us lots of choice and allowed us to visit Lido & Murano easily. The Doge’s Palace entry fast track: the rules had been changed so that entry was not before 12:30. We had planned to arrive for entry at 10am but this was not to be. Nonetheless, we filled our time easily and gained entry fairly swiftly at 12:30pm, so worth it to skip the enormous queue. Mid-week is quiet compared to Saturday, which was manically busy.”
